World Diabetes Day is celebrated this November 14
World Diabetes Day, is organized by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and supported by the World Health Organization (WHO).
It is celebrated worldwide by the 190 member associations of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in 150 countries as well as by other associations, health care providers and people with an interest in diabetes.
This year’s World Diabetes Day 2014 is the first action of a three-year campaign (2014-2016) which the main theme is “Healthy living and diabetes.” All activities and efforts are centered around healthy eating and its importance in the prevention of type 2 diabetes, as well as the effective management of the disease to avoid complications.
Our milks are sugar-free but also unsweetened*. They fit perfectly for a diabetes diet.
These milks can be claimed as “sugars free” because they contain less than 0.5 g of total sugar per 100 ml or 100 g; and as “unsweetened” because they are free from any kind of ingredient used for their sweetening properties (According to regulation (EC) nº 1924/2006.)
However, they contain naturally occurring sugars up to 0.1 g per 100 ml or 100 g.
