The bitter truth about sugar to discover in “That Sugar Film”

This documentary tells the story of Damon Gameau, an Australian actor is about to discover the effect of a high sugar diet, consumming for 60 days food perceived as healthy.

In a similar style of the acclaimed documentary Super Size Me directed by Michael Moore (which shows the physical transformationof a Morgan Spurlock eating only fast food), Damon Gameau embarks this experience in his documentary That Sugar Film.

If these products are low in fat, they are rich in sugars. So Damon Gameau in barely a month, starts feeling the sugar effects  on his body (weight gain, nervousness, constant hunger, diabetes …). He consumed around 40 teaspoons of sugar everyday, while the World Health Organization recommends no more than 6 teaspoons a day.  read our article about the OMS recommendations
