Dal of red lentil

There is nothing better than a rich, complete dish that you can prepare in a short time. This is the case of this Dal of red lentil with spinach in which you only need the ingredients and 30 minutes of your time. Not so bad, huh? Dal is a typical Asian dish and Asian recipes drive me crazy, and I think it’s all due to my passion for spices. Since I was a little girl, I’ve been very interested in how a basic ingredient can change everything as you season it.

This version is called masoor because it uses red lentils. Enjoy it.

1 tablespoon Naturgreen coconut oil

1 onion

2 garlic

1 carrot

A few pieces of red and green pepper

1 piece of ginger

1/4 teaspoon chili

½ teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon cilantro seeds

1 teaspoon NaturGreen Experience Turmeric Cream

1 tablespoon garam masala

200 grams Naturgreen red lentil

1 cup chopped tomato

1 cup Ecomil Thai

1 1/2 cup vegetable broth

salt and pepper

Juice of half a lemon

Spinach

Heat a pan with NaturGreen coconut oil, add onion, ginger, garlic, carrot and pepper and sauté over medium heat for 5-6 minutes.

  1. Now add the spices (without the salt) and combine all together for a few minutes.
  2. Now add the red NaturGreen lentil and the finely chopped tomato pieces. Mix with the rest of the ingredients, when you are sure that everything is well combined pour in the cup of Ecomil Thai drink, the cup of vegetable broth and the salt. Let everything cook for 10-15 minutes. Serve with rice and enjoy.
