Cherry Bakewell Layered Nicecream
This nicecream recipe has been made by: The messy vegan
Ingredients:
- 4-6 frozen bananas (depending on appetite!)
- 150-200g frozen cherries
- Dash of almond extract
- Dash of vanilla extract
- 200ml sugar free Ecomil almond milk
Optional Toppings:
- Flaked/ground almonds
- Strawberries
- Extra frozen or fresh cherries
- Cacao nibs
Method:
- Blend the bananas, almond extract and vanilla extract in a high speed blender along with half of the almond milk, until an “ice cream” consistency is created. You may need to thaw the bananas slightly beforehand.
- Transfer half of this ice cream into a serving bowl/jar.
- Add the frozen cherries and the rest of the almond milk to the remaining ice cream in the blender, and pulse until smooth. Transfer into the serving bowl/jar as the second layer.
- Complete the Cherry Bakewell layered nicecream by adding any of the optional toppings.
- Enjoy!
