Almond milk: an alternative to cow´s milk.
From years, cow´s milk is presented as a key element of our food, however its properties do not fit its popularity.
Indeed, cow´s milk contains saturated fats and cholesterol. It may also contains the pesticides and antibiotics ingested by the cow.
Even if cow’s milk is rich in calcium, it contains a lot of acidifiers weakening bones too.
To give priority to low PH food as vegetal food allows to fix calcium on bones.
So, almond milk is an alternative to cow’s milk because it is dairy free and lactose free.
From one part, almond is rich in fibre, vitamin A, B and E but is also source of calcium, iron and magnesium.
From other part, almond milk is adapted to vegetarian or vegan diets as well as people suffering food allergies or lactose intolerance.
Obviously, if almond milk can be enjoyed hot or cold at any time of the day, its delicious taste and smooth texture will also allow you to replace cow’s milk in all your sweet or savoury recipes.
